The fundamental essentials for a good authentic paella, as well as how to cook one at home on your hob and finishing cooking in the oven. We will be teaching you both the traditional method as well as an adapted method for cooking at home. Unlocking all the secrets to perfecting this traditional Valencian Dish.
How to create a good base stock, sofrito and toasting rice.. through to how far to cook and rest your paella. We will be cooking two vaieties in class. The different rices, paella flavour varieties, spices and cooking vessels. Who knew there was so much to this seemingly simple dish!
Partial participation workshop preparing and cooking our paellas upstairs whilst enjoying a glass of Tinto Verano and tapas. This is a recreational class with lots of fun, but also full on in content and lots to learn.
